Feeling lost and not knowing where to turn is a real feeling that brings us to our knees. When we feel this way it is like we have fallen into a pit and there is no way out and no one hears our cry for help. But there is hope. There is someone who hears your cry. God hears your cry for help. I pray that God will guide my words and will pull you up out of your pit.
First of all even though it doesn't feel like it, God loves you. Please understand that it is a common ploy of the Devil to tell each of us "God doesn't hear you ", or "God doesn't care about you" or worse yet the Devil will tell us "God doesn't exist." These are all lies to keep us away from God. God does care. He cares about you!
“What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost." (Mt 18:12-14)1
You are the one, the lost sheep. Jesus Christ left His throne in heaven to come down here on earth just for you. (John 3:16)
Let's prayer: Father God, I don't feel you right now. But I want to. I'm lost and I don't know where to go. Please reveal Yourself to me, help me to see You and feel You. Give me direction and show me the way out of this pit. In Christ's Name I pray, Amen
